The Newsletter

Muzică imaginară is an inter-disciplinary project engaging artists, musicians, historians, archivists and the average music lover in a post-spectacular conversation about Romanian composer Octavian Nemescu’s Imaginary Music. Coordinated by Octav Avramescu, with funding from Romanian Ministry of Culture and co-financed by The National Administration of Cultural Fund (AFCN), and developed in association with the Unearthing the Music network.

This space is dedicated to documenting their research process in two phases:

I. a free-form series of individual new artistic projects reflecting on Imaginary Music

II. a weekly newsletter providing :

  1. an introductory text focused on the popularization of Imaginary Music

  2. an artistic proposal or workshop guiding the study of the Imaginary Music scores

  3. thoughts, testimonials and new ideas generated by the practice of Imaginary Music

We post every Saturday. Follow our research process on twitter and instagram.
